Case Management allows gathering data from several different sources that relates to a common event or series of events. Think of this modules as a digital file cabinet and each case as a file drawer with an many folders and subfolders as needed.
A CASE in this program is similar to a briefcase or file folder that holds booking records, incidents, individuals, photos, property, warrants, tickets/court statements, civil papers, fines/fees and dispatch calls.
This module is an extremely useful tool for officers and criminal investigators to hold all information in the program about cases they are working or investigating.
The Case Management module also provides a method for recording information that is not recorded in any other module of the program.
Case Management offers a facility a means to assign users (officers) to specific cases and manages the work flow and activity that is performed on the case.
It also allows cases to be marked “Confidential”. Only those users assigned to the case can view confidential items in the marked case.
